John James Stukey, 5, Orland, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio.
He was born October 26, 2007, in Angola, Ind., to John C. and Lisa (Kain) Stukey.
He was the youngest of three children and was baptized at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson. He wanted to go to farming school when he grew up.
Surviving are his parents, John and Lisa Stukey, Orland; two sisters, Taylor and Brianna Stukey; grandparents John (Terry) Stukey and Jim (Ruth) Kain, all of Orland; great-grandmother Martha Wilson, Orland; four aunts, Heather (Mike) Richardson, LaGrange, Heidi (Josh) Shaffer, Stroh, Harmonee (Pat) McCrea, Orland, and Amy (Jason) Brandt, Hudson; his uncle, Derek Stukey, Orland; and eight cousins.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Lamont Wilson, Don (Lillian) Kain, and James (Ruby) Lawson.
Services were held Monday, February 11, at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson, Mich., with Reverend Fr. Richard Fritz officiating.
Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland.
