John D. Graber, 78, Middlebury, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born July 12, 1934, in LaGrange County, to Daniel and Katie (Hostetler) Graber.
He was owner-operator of Graber Well Drilling since 1983.
He was married June 17, 1956, in LaGrange County, to Betty Gingerich. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Rhonda (Allen) Falls, Middlebury, and Jeanie (Kevin) Koch, Goshen; one son, Darryl (Crystal) Graber, Goshen; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one stepgrandson; one stepgreat-grandson; and two sisters, Anna Lambright, LaGrange, and Fannie Mast, Shipshewana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Levi, Sam, Melvin, Milo and Tobe Graber, and two sisters, Lizzie Schrock and Ada Nisley.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, at First Mennonite Church in Middlebury with Reverend Gary Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
