Jane Marie Frick, 64, Shipshewana, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne.
She was born March 31, 1947, in Sturgis, Mich., to Ledger and Violet (Kaas) Wygant.
She was a homemaker, cafeteria manager at York Elementary School in Middlebury for 13 years, operated the Deere Run Bed and Breakfast in Shipshewana, was co-owner/operator of Latexo General Store in Latexo, Texas, and was a member of the Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene.
She was married June 20, 1992, in Noble County, to Duane Frick. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Lesa Marie Lung, Goshen; one son, Chad Crowder, Monte Vista, Colo.; three stepdaughters, Cynthia (Chad) Arnold, Elkhart, Texas, Bethany (Jeff) Clopp, Pollack, Texas, and Christina "Tudie" (Bryan) Chapin, Elkhart, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Harriet Harvey, and three brothers, Dutch “Leland,” Carl, and George Wygant.
Services were held Monday, January 9, at the Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Andy Dayton officiating.
Burial is in Burr Oak Township Cemetery.
