J. Daniel Cregier, 69, Goshen, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born January 19, 1943, in Goshen, to Joseph G. and Harriet L. (Miller) Cregier.
A resident of Goshen and Westler Lake in Wolcottville, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964-1968 and worked for five years at the National Security Agency. He retired in 2008 after 30 years as a service tech supervisor at Starcraft RV. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
He was married June 24, 1972, in Clinton, Md., to Carolyn Stone. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Anita L. (Gary Markley) Albaugh, Elkhart; one son, Mark W. (Ginger) Cregier, Syracuse, Ind.; four grandchildren, David Albaugh, Jennifer Cornelius, Amanda Cregier, and Heather Cregier; six great-grandchildren; four stepgreat grandchildren; two sisters; Nancy L. (Bob) Staigmiller, Absarokee, Mont., and Janice A. Caton, Goshen; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandson, Michael Salisbury Jr.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 29, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen with Reverend Alan Griffin officiating.
Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
