Irene Miller, 67, Shipshewana, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at her residence.
She was born March 25, 1946, in LaGrange County, to Emanuel and Abagail (Raber) Bontrager.
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married April 21, 1966, in Topeka, to Melvin W. Miller. He survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, Katherine (LeRoy) Miller, Shipshewana, Linda (Harley) Beechy, Middlebury, Erma (Merlin) Eash, Flat Rock, Ill., LeEtta (Richard) Mishler, LaGrange, and Martha (Lynn) Miller, Goshen; two sons, Lonnie (Vonda) Miller, Shipshewana, and Mark (Megan) Miller, Albion; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters, Anna Marie (Edward) Hochstetler, Shipshewana, Katie Mae (Calvin) Miller, Topeka, Esther (Orla) Miller, Topeka, and Mary Alice Bontrager, Millersburg, Ohio; and two brothers, Levi E.A. (Clara) Bontrager, Goshen, and Henry (Etta Fern) Bontrager, Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is all day Monday, February 17, at the LaVern Beechy residence, 5580W 200N in Shipshewana.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, at the LaVern Beechy residence, 5580W 200N in Shipshewana, with Bishop Menno Petersheim and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
