Ira Miller, 67, of Wolcottville, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Wyant Woods Care Center in Akron, OH.
He was born on October 3, 1945 to William A. and Anna (Petershien) Miller in Topeka, IN.
Ira was a truck driver and he had also worked as a dairy farmer and tour bus driver.
On August 15, 1965 he married Carol Bauman.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Miller of Wolcottville; a son, Ross A. (Lorena) Miller, of Goshen; a daughter, Yolanda J. Pawlyshyn of Naples, FL; three grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna and Makayla; three sisters, Martha Miller of Goshen, Barbara (Allen) Sharick of Shipshewana and Dora (Larry) Zook of Wolcottville; one brother, Edgar (Phyllis) Miller of White Pigeon, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Ella Joan Miller.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10 AM at New Life Fellowship, 2755 St. Rd. 5, Topeka, IN 46571 with Pastor Larry Byrnes officiating.
Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
