Ida Mae Lehman, 89, LaGrange, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at her residence.
She was born July 2, 1923, in Middlebury, to Eli J. and Alma (Miller) Herschberger.
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married May 21, 1944, in Middlebury, to Daniel A. Lehman. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2012.
Surviving are four daughters, Mary Ellen (Floyd) Miller, Chouteau, Okla., Barbara Fern (Howard) Troyer, Ligonier, Anna Marie (LeRoy) Troyer, LaGrange, and Alma Sue (Tom) Moran, Chouteau, Okla.; three sons, Elmer Lee (Elizabeth) Lehman, Middlebury, Albert Jay Lehman, Ava, Mo. and Tressie Lehman, Middlebury, and Melvin Ray (Phyllis) Lehman, Shipshewana; 27 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Alice Yoder, Shipshewana, Pauline Schrock, New Paris, Ind., and LaVina Miller, Sarasota, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Lou Ella Herschberger, Sarasota, Fla.; one brother, Perry (Annabell) Herschberger, Millersburg; and a brother-in-law, Harvey Kauffman, Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, Steve and Justin Lehman, two stillborn grandchildren, one sister, Fannie Kauffman, one brother, Omer Herschberger, two brothers-in-law, Erie Schrock and Melvin Miller, and a daughter-in-law, LorAnna Lehman.
Services were held Thursday, September 27, at the Lonnie Yoder residence, 4985S 300W in LaGrange, with Bishop Ervin Bontrager and home ministers officiating.
Burial is in Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.
