Howe Boys Basketball Pastes White's

 

The Howe School boys basketball team ran its record to 2-0 Saturday with a 71-51 pasting of White’s in Wabash.

The Wildcats stormed to a 22-12 lead after one period, then followed it up with a 19-7 spurt in the second frame to seize a commanding, 41-19 halftime edge.

Renatas Issak registered a triple-double in leading Howe. Issak tallied 35 points on 13 field goals and 9-10 shooting from the foul stripe, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked 10 shots.

Teammate Arnas Zabarauskas nearly equaled Issak’s triple-double, as he collected 25 points, 10 boards and seven assists. David Sherman-Hay chipped in 11 points and seven steals to the Wildcat ledger. Patrick Kanamugire had nine rebounds and five assists.

Dylan Crays paced White’s with 24 points.
