Helen Charlotte Wolf,91, Rome City, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Lutheran Life Villages-Pine Valley in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
She was born April 25, 1923, in Ft. Wayne, Ind., to Charles Orland and Anna Catherine (Nitzsche) Wise.
She was a 1941 graduate of Northside High School and worked at a State Farm Insurance Agency in Ft. Wayne, Ind., and retired from Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in Ft. Wayne, Ind., after 19 years. In 1970, she and her husband built the Northport Mobile Home Court north of Rome City, which they operated for 44 years. They were members of the Airstream RV Association for over 30 years and she was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Wolcottville.
She was married October 18, 1947, in Ft. Wayne, Ind., to Raymond O. Wolf. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2010.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Lisa Wolf, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Thomas and Cindy Wolf, Hoagland, Ind.; two granddaughters and one grandson-in-law, Amanda and Tim Crutchfield, Columbia City, Ind., and Kristen Wolf, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Matthew and Nikki Wolf, Bloomington, Ind.; and seven great-grandchildren, Carter, Lauren, Hayden and Anneliese Wolf and Ethan, Logan and Myrissa Crutchfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven Wolf, triplet daughters, and one sister, Ruth Coleman.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Friday, August 1, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Wolcottville.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 1, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Wolcottville with Reverend James Tews officiating.
