Harold Eller

 

Harold Keith Eller, 75, North Manchester, Ind., died Monday, February 13, 2012 at his residence. 

    He was born November 18, 1936, in Delphi, Ind., to Adrian and Orpha (Wolf) Eller/Miller. 

    He attended Rossville High School in Rossville, Ind., and was a truck driver for Blue Flame Gas, Alderman Transport, Provimi Veal, and retired from Dana Corporation in 2000.  He owned and operated Eller Leasing in Southern Ohio and owned and operated H & K Construction, building pole barns. He also owned and operated Country Inn Restaurant in Shipshewana with his wife in the 1970s. He attended Liberty Mills United Methodist Church, later going to West Eel River Church of the Brethren. He was a member of American Truckers Association, board member of the homeowners association in Woodhaven Estates, Sebring, Fla., held a pilot's license and flew planes for business and pleasure.

    He was married June 25, 1955 to Ruby Kay Graybill. She survives. 

    Also surviving are his children, Bryce (Debra) Eller, Port Arthur, Texas, Bill (Charlene) Eller, Greenville, Texas, Judy (Larry) Toy, Springport, Ind., Rod (Tina) Eller, Howe, Penny (Jim) Railsback, Etna Green, Ind., and Peggy (Mike) White, Roann, IN.  Also surviving are a brother, Wayne Miller, Gas City, IN; sister, Ethel Miller, TX; sister-in-law, Ruth Eller, Montpelier, Ind.; 12 grandchildren, Rhiannon Eller, Adrian Eller, Nicole Eller, Andrea Eller, Amanda Eller, Cassie Gardner, Trevor Schneider, Ivy Railsback, Luke White, David White, Jacob White and Faith White; three stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Railsback, Timothy Barth and Thomas Barth; two great-grandchildren, Kainan Eller and Kaylin Gardner; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Colton Railsback, Caiden Barth, Gracelynn Barth, and Brayden Barth. 

    He was preceded in death by one brother, Arnold Eller. 

    Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, February 18, at South Pleasant Community Building in North Manchester, Ind.
