Goshen dealt Westview just its third loss of the varsity boys basketball season by a count of 52-46 last Friday night in the Maple City.
A pair of three-point baskets by Austin Henke and another by Jesse Good in the third period helped the host Redskins build a 40-34 advantage. The two teams entered the second half knotted at 23-all.
In the final frame, a trey and two charity tosses by Sam Stegelmann, along with five free throws by Good, helped Goshen keep Westview at bay. Stegelmann ended up topping the 10-8 Redskins in points with 17. Henke followed with 14.
Nic Raber led Westview in scoring with 11 points and in rebounds with six. Brant Yoder netted eight markers and collected a team-high five assists for the 17-3 Warriors.
