Gertie M. Miller, 87, LaGrange, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her residence.
She was born October 2, 1925, in Topeka, to Magdalena Yoder.
Living all her life in LaGrange County, she was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married March 30, 1948, in Topeka, to Joas E. Miller. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2001.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Treva M. and Joseph W. Miller, LaGrange, Irene L. and Elmer Yoder, Middlebury, and Freda L. Fike, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon T. and Carolyn Miller, LaGrange, and Ernest E. and MaryEllen Miller, McBain, Mich.; 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Magdalena Yoder, and a son-in-law, Larry Fike.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, and all day Thursday, December 13, at the family residence, 1175W 300S in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 14, at the family residence, 1175W 300S in LaGrange, with Bishop Eli P. Miller and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, rural LaGrange.
