Geraldine Louise Gloor, 77, Topeka, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born October 13, 1934, in Topeka, to Iris and Florence (Yoder) Fought.
She was married May 3, 1952, at the Topeka United Methodist Church, to William F. Gloor. He preceded her in death.
She had worked for the Bag Factory and Homecrest, both in Goshen, and Sorg in Ligonier. She helped care for her grandchildren from 1979-2000 and for many of those years she was a crossing guard at Topeka Elementary School. She was a member of Topeka United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two children, Brenda (Daniel) Pruitt, Topeka, and Les (Betty) Gloor, Ligonier; six grandchildren, Lowell Pruitt, West Palm Beach, Fla., Tisa (Matt) Slabach, Russiaville, Ind., Marcus and Taryn Pruitt, Topeka, Gust (Angelina), South Milford, and Brittany Gloor, Angola; six great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Leon Fought, Hermansville, Mich., Betty Riedel, Topeka, Pauline (Earl) Truex, New Paris, Shirley (George) Oswald, Goshen, and Nancy (Donald) Saylor, New Paris.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Gerald, Donald, Wayne, James and Kenneth Fought, and Irene Adair.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 19, at Topeka United Methodist Church.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, at Topeka United Methodist Church with Pastor Diana Seigal officiating.
Burial will be in Eden Cemetery, Topeka.
