Gary M. Carney, 63, LaGrange, died Monday November 28, 2011 at Parkview Main Hospital in Ft. Wayne.
He was born January 5, 1948, in Albany, Ind., to Milo and Betty (Butler) Carney.
He attended four years of college in Muncie, Ind., earning his journeyman in tool and die. He worked all his life as a tool and die maker until he retired.
He was married June 27, 1980, in LaGrange, to Linda Thompson. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Brad Carney, Middlebury, and Jason Watts, Sturgis, Mich.; two daughters, Heather Boolman, Geneva, Ind., and Tara Caldwell, Napolean, N.D.; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Diana Thomas, Goshen.
Visitation is 2-3 p.m. Friday, December 2, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, December 2, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange with Pastor Ken Weaver officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange at a later date.
Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange is in charge of arrangements.
