Fremont tops Lakeland in tennis action

Fremont blanked Lakeland, 5-0 in NECC boys tennis action Saturday in Fremont.

The Eagles won four of the five matches in straight sets. The lone three-setter came at No. 2 doubles, where Drew Sullivan and Mason Kolberg outlasted Sam Miller and Ian Sonner, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10-8).

With the loss, the Lakers dropped to 1-3 on the season.
