Fremont defeats Lakeland in boys tennis

 

 

Fremonttopped Lakeland, 4-1 in NECC boys tennis action last Thursday.

Scoring the Laker point was the No. 2 doubles unit of Sam Miller and Ian Sonner, who outlasted Mason Kolberg and Keith Bookwalter, 7-6, 2-6, 6-2.

Lakelandrolled to a 5-0 boys tennis win over The Howe School last Friday in Howe.

The Lakers won all five matches in two sets. No. 1 singles player Bret Balka was a 6-0, 6-0 victor over Spencer Phillips.
