lowing approval by the Town of LaGrange Board of Zoning Appeals Tuesday evening, the former Jayco site on SR 9 on the north side of town will be the home of multiple businesses.
Owner Anu Sahni of ATJ Real Estate Holdings and All That Jazz, applied for a land use variance to allow multiple businesses to operate on the one parcel. The business types approved by the BZA were furniture manufacturing, carpet cutting and edging, warehousing and distribution, and truck conversions.
Along with All That Jazz, which is a wholesale distributor, the facility also has manufacturing by Morgan Olsen, which the BZA was told employs about 60 people. In all, around 100 jobs will be brought to LaGrange at the location.
Sahni also confirmed that a candle manufacturer was preparing to move into the location.
Keith Gillenwater of the LaGrange County Economic Development Commission (EDC) told the BZA that the location is perfect for multiple businesses. “It gets empty buildings full. It gets employees in there,” he said.
Lora Tornamen of the EDC added that Sahni has been an excellent investor in the community and great to work with on the project.
