Florence Rheinheimer, 97, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
She was born December 1, 1914, in Shipshewana, to Noah and Sovilla (Blough) Hooley.
Living her entire life in LaGrange County, she was a homemaker and member of Shore Mennonite Church.
She was married August 23, 1941 to Raymond (Bud) Rheinheimer. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1998.
Surviving are five children, Larry (Mary Jo) Rheinheimer, LaGrange, Shirley (Ben) Helmuth, LaGrange, Karen (Mike) Coffee, Dandridge, Tenn., Bonnie (Tom) Swihart, Churubusco, Ind., and Lonnie Rheinheimer, Hugoton, Kan.; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Mishler, Shipshewana; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Showalter, Goshen, and a sister-in-law, Lois Hooley, Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by one son, Lynn Rheinheimer, and three brothers, Francis Hooley, Ernest Hooley and LaVern Hooley.
Services were held Monday, October 1, at the Shore Mennonite Church in Shipshewana with Reverend Carl Horner officiating.
Burial is in Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana.
