FlorenceCharlyene Hall, 82, South Milford, Ind., died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at her residence.
She was born May 7, 1931, in Billings, Mont., to Monroe and Hattie (Hall) Fritz.
She was a former office worker with McCray Refrigeration and sales clerk at Ames, both in Kendallville. She was also a teacher’s aide for 13 years with the Vistula Head Start program at Milford Elementary. She was the organist and pianist for more than 30 years at South Milford United Methodist Church, where she was a member.
She was married August 5, 1949, in LaGrange, to Roy Young Hall. He died on September 29, 2013.
Surviving are two sons, Rusty Hall, South Milford, Ind., and Rodney and Marie Hall, Wolf Lake; six grandchildren, Melissa Shepherd, South Milford, Ind., Micheal and Tiffany Hall, Angola, Ind., Chad and Bekki Hall, Tacoma, Wash., Stephanie Hall, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Sarah Geiger, Auburn, Ind., and Jacob Geiger, South Milford, Ind.; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Royetta Wilder, one great-grandson, Bailey Hall, and one brother, Lewis “Sonny” Fritz.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville and 10-11 a.m. Thursday, October 3, at South Milford United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 3, at South Milford United Methodist Church with Pastor Donna Holcomb officiating.
Burial will be at Brushy Chapel Cemetery, LaGrange County.
