Fay Mains Tefft, 89, LaGrange, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
She was born August 2, 1923, in LaGrange County, to Zopher R. and Huldah M. (Dunkel) Randol.
Living all her life in LaGrange County and Lake Okeechobee, Fla., she retired from Kirsch Company in Sturgis, Mich., after 27 years on the production line.
She was married in 1941, in LaGrange, to Estry Jay Mains. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was married in 1996, in Mongo, to Guy “Pete” Tefft. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Fay A. and George Jackson, Mongo, and Sandra and Bruce Plew, LaGrange; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Lenda Mains, LaGrange, and Charles R. Mains, Sturgis, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Betty L. and John Malone, Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Pauline Pant, Helen Powers, and May Mains, and one brother, Zopher Randol Jr.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Reverend Carldean Merrifield officiating.
Burial will be in Brushy Chapel Cemetery, rural LaGrange.
