Farmers State Bank Announces promotions

Farmers State Bank announced the recent promotion of several employees. 

Greg Todd, Regional Team Leader for Farmers State Bank, has been promoted to Senior Vice President.  Greg has been with the bank a total of 11 years and has a total of 32 years banking experience.  He formally held positions as a teller, loan officer trainee, branch manager, business development officer and vice president.  Todd is a graduate of the National Installment School of Credit which he completed in Norman, Oklahoma.  He currently serves as campaign director for the Lagrange County United Fund and is president of Focus LaGrange. 

Jonathan Puckett has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager/Banking Officer of the LaGrange office.  In addition, he is currently a mortgage loan originator.  Jon has been with the bank for 10 years.  He was previously a teller, loan processor, an administrative assistant at the Millersburg office, and mortgage loan originator focusing on secondary market mortgage lending.  Puckett earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Sonoma State University in California.

Misti Gardner, Sturgis Branch Manager, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.  Misti has been with the bank for 24 years.  She started her career as a teller at the Howe office and then the administrative assistant in the Sturgis office.  Gardner was a past member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and past president for Sturgis Exchange Club.  She is currently on the Stewardship Committee for Brighton Chapel and is a board member for the Sturgis Neighborhood Program.

Frank Tijerina, Retail Lender for Farmers State Bank, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.  Frank has been with the bank for 10 years.  He formally held positions as a teller, commercial assistant, assistant manager of the loan processing department and then moved to the Topeka office as Retail Lender in 2007.  Tijerina earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Goshen College.  He recently completed IBA’s Commercial Lending School in 2014.  Frank is currently a Rotary member, Ligonier Chamber of Commerce president and the treasurer of the Noble County Saddle Club.

April Alleshouse, Credit Analyst for Farmers State Bank, has been promoted to Banking Officer.  April has been with the bank for 20 years.  She was previously a teller, commercial loan secretary, loan processor, assistant credit analyst and loan processing manager.  Alleshouse earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University.  She was formally the treasurer for LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity and treasurer of Delta Thata Tau Sorority.
