Fannie (Mast) Yoder, 91, Middlebury, formerly of Shipshewana, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1920, in Conway Springs, Kan., to Christ and Lena (Nissley) Mast.
She was a homemaker and worked in the laundry department at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange for 15 years. She was a member of Griner Mennonite Church in Middlebury, where she was very active in the sewing circle,
She was married December 9, 1945, in Garnett, Kan., to Ben J. Yoder. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Gary Ray (Sonya) Yoder, Milford; four grandchildren, Amanda and Abby Yoder and Adam and Katelyn Baker; one sister, Elizabeth Bontrager, Hutchinson, Kan.; and one brother, Mose (Gladys) Mast, Jefferson, Ore.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Yoder, and two brothers, Daniel and Leander Mast.
Services were held Monday, February 27, at Griner Mennonite Church in Middlebury with Reverend John Yoder, Reverend Robert Riegsecker and Reverend Jeff Schrock officiating.
Burial is in Griner Cemetery, Middlebury.
