Fairfield nudges Westview in boys tennis

Fairfield nudged Westview, 3-2 in a battle of NECC boys tennis unbeatens Saturday in Benton.

The Falcons won each of the singles matches to secure their three points. Scoring straight-set doubles wins were the Warrior duos of Hunter Christner-Jamar Weaver and Zach Schrock-Taylor Eash.

The win locked up the league’s regular-season title for Fairfield, which finished the round-robin loop 8-0. Westview slid to 5-1 in the NECC and to 12-3 overall with its loss.
