The LaGrange County Extension Homemakers are planning the adult exhibits for this year’s 4-H Fair. Each department division may receive a prize plus the Best of Show ribbon. Departments include the following: foods, food preservation, needlework, quilting, fine arts, sewing, crafts, horticulture, woodworking, recyle-it, and collectibles. Exhibit fliers with the complete list of department categories are available at the Purdue Extension LaGrange County Office. Entry is open to LaGrange County residents, both male and female, who are at least 18 years of age by the entry date. Current 4-H members are not eligible.
Exhibits must be entered at the 4-H Fair exhibit building between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, July 6th. Each project must be that of the exhibitor and completed since the previous fair.
Prize donors are the following: Plato Extension Homemakers, Greenfield Extension Homemakers, Ann Fremion, Home Spun Treasures, Community Foundation, Patchwork Patterns Extension Homemakers, Newbury Twp. Extension Homemakers, LaGrange County Master Gardeners, Mary Beth Lemings, and Norm Duesler.
