Everence awards grant to Elijah Haven Crisis Intervention Center

The Michiana chapter of Everence Financial recently awarded a $500 grant to Elijah Haven Crisis Intervention Center in LaGrange.

The grant will help provide a safe, healing and nurturing environment for individuals affected by domestic violence.

“We are pleased to award this Everence Chapter Grant to Elijah Haven,” said Brad Miller, Everence Church Relations representative. “Helping our local communities fits with the mission and ministry of Everence. It’s one way we are doing better together.”

In addition to the grant given to Elijah Haven, the Everence Michiana chapter awarded a grant to KeyStone Place in Centreville, Mich.

The Michiana chapter of Everence is a regional group made up of area Everence members. The chapter plans and conducts charitable, social, volunteer and educational stewardship activities focused on helping individuals or families in need, not-for-profit organizations and regional congregations.
