Erwin E. Eash, 82, Shipshewana, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at his residence.
He was born January 5, 1932, in LaGrange County, to Erwin S. and Elizabeth V. (Lambright) Eash.
He was a retired farmer, did woodworking, and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He was married September 29, 1956, in LaGrange County, to Mary Etta Hostetler. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2014.
Surviving are three daughters, Lizzie Mae (Ernest R.) Miller, Millersburg, Ind., Ruth Ann (Willie Jr.) Yoder, Shipshewana, and LeEtta (Eli, Jr.) Yutzy, Shipshewana; four sons, Marlin (Doris) Eash, Shipshewana, Cletus (Sue) Eash, Shipshewana, Glen (Anna) Eash, Goshen, Ind., and Marvin (Waneta) Eash, Shipshewana; 45 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Amos (Rebecca) Eash and Ora (Virginia) Eash, both of McMinnville, Ore.; and four sisters, Millie Yoder, Goshen, Ind., Edna (Perry) Yoder, Bloomfield, Iowa, Wilma (Vern) Fry, Topeka, and Rosa (Albert) Yoder, Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harvey and Samuel Eash, and four sisters, Alice Eash, Susie Eash, Elizabeth Mast, and Ida Eash.
Visitation is all day Thursday, February 27, at the Marlin Eash residence, 0785N 1000W in Shipshewana.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 28, at the Mervin Wingard residence, 0635N 1000W in Shipshewana, with Bishop Wilbur Miller and the home ministers.
Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
