Ervin A. Miller, 91, LaGrange, died Friday, May 17, 2013 at his daughter Fannie Miller’s residence in Pardeeville, Wisc.
He was born August 6, 1921, in LaGrange, to Ananias E. and Mattie (Hershberger) Miller.
He was a farmer, owner-operator of a metal shop at his residence, and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He was married January 29, 1942, in LaGrange County, to Annie Miller. She preceded him in death on January 29, 2011.
Surviving are five daughters, Lydia Mae Petersheim, Dalton, Wisc., Fannie (Daniel Ray) Miller, Pardeeville, Wisc., Leanna Miller, LaGrange, Katie (Floyd R.) Miller, LaGrange, Erma (Freeman S.) Miller, Pardeeville, Wisc.; four sons, Clarence (Anna Marie) Miller, Shipshewana, Orva Miller, Avoca, N.Y., Perry (Wilma) Miller, LaGrange, and Leroy (Ada Mae) Miller, Dalton, Wisc.; a son-in-law, Eli (Ruby) Schrock, LaGrange; 65 grandchildren; and 260 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Mary Schrock, five great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Ella Miller, two sons-in-law, Elva Petersheim and Edwin Miller, four sisters, Anna Schmucker, Mary Hochstetler, Katie Graber, and infant Matie Miller, and five brothers, Nathaniel, Clarence, Neal, Levi and Ammon Miller.
Visitation is all day Monday, May 20, at the Floyd R. Miller residence, 4460W 100S in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Floyd R. Miller residence, 4460W 100S in LaGrange, with Bishop Dan W. Yoder and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Beechy Cemetery, LaGrange.
