Ella J. Hostetler, 77, Topeka, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at her residence.
She was born March 29, 1935 in Topeka, Kan., to Joni B. and Polly (Troyer) Miller.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married January 13, 1955, in LaGrange County, to Orva O. Hostetler. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2010.
Surviving are six sons, Marvin Ray (Esther) Hostetler, Ligonier, Wilbur Lee (Susie) Hostetler, Topeka, Calvin (Mary) Hostetler, Topeka, Larry (Susan) Hostetler, Topeka, David (Barbara) Hostetler, Millersburg, and Orva Jr. (Rosemary) Hostetler, Topeka; four daughters, Lizzie Mae (Elmer) Yoder, Shipshewana, Fern (Gerald) Raber, Shipshewana, Elva (Richard) Lehman, LaGrange, and Nettie (Daniel) Frey, Topeka; 77 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; three sisters, her twin, Elva (Vernon) Weaver, Shipshewana, Anna Miller, Cambria, Wisc., and Susie (Clarence) Schlabach, Dalton, Wisc.; and a sister-in-law, Edna (Mahlon) Bontrager, Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Joe Dean and Kristina Hostetler, one great-grandchild, Joe Dean Yoder, three brothers, David, Christy and Ray Miller, and one sister, Minnie Bontrager.
Services were held Monday, July 23, at the family residence, 8490W 650S in Shipshewana, with Bishop Glen Lambright officiating.
Burial is in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
