Eleanor M. Iddings, 92, Bluffton, Ind., died Friday, August 22, 2014 at Heritage Point in Warren.
She was born May 22, 1922 in LaGrange County, to Warren and Clara (Milleman) Iddings.
She was a graduate of Springfield High School in Mongo and obtained a B.S in education from Ball State University and a Master’s degree from Western Michigan University. She was a business instructor and taught in LaGrange, Wolcottville and Angola high schools. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in 1966 and taught at Broward Community College until her retirement in 1992.
Surviving are three siblings, Barbara Charles, Bluffton, Ind., Warren “Bud” Iddings, Wolcottville, and Joyce Woodworth, LaGrange; 13 nieces; and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Carrol Yunker, Joan Stafford and Donna Minnick, and four nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, Leukemia Foundation or charity of donor’s choice through the funeral home.
