Eleanor L. Elliott, 90, Orland, died Wednesday April 24, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
She was born January 9, 1923, in Orland, to Lyston and Marian (Turner) Keyes.
She was a graduate of Orland High School and attended Business College in Ft. Wayne. She was the former owner of an ice cream and gift shop in Orland, and hat shop in Sturgis, Mich. She was a member of the Orland Congregational Church and Orland American Legion Auxiliary.
She was married June 1, 1941, in Elkhart, Ind., to Ralph H. Elliott. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1993.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Diane Elliott, Orland, Thomas and Karen Elliott, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Jeff and Susan Elliott, Howe; two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Joseph DiCara, Tabernacle, N.J., and Robin and Carl Sears, Orland; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Cecil Keyes, Haines City, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyston and Marian Keyes, and one sister, Alice Keyes.
Private family services were held Saturday, April 27, at Orland Congregational Church with Pastor Mark Emelander officiating.
Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland.
