Edward Lehman

Edward M. Lehman, 93, Millersburg, Ind., died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his residence.

    He was born April 12, 1922, in LaGrange County, to Manas M. and Edna (Miller) Lehman.

    He was a farmer and worked at Victorian Homes following his retirement from farming. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

    He was married March 9, 1944, in LaGrange County, to Celesta J.  Hochstetler. She preceded him in death on September 8, 2006.

    Surviving are three daughters, Marietta (Orlis) Yoder, Mendon, Mich., Susie E. (Alton) Miller, Millersburg, Ind., and Lizzie Mae (Enos) Yoder, Millersburg, Ind.; four sons, Merlin (Mary) Lehman, Middlebury, Jacob (Katie) Lehman, Goshen, Ind., Manas (Mary Alice) Lehman, Topeka, and Maynard (Vera) Lehman, Millersburg, Ind.; 43 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ervin (Lydia) Lehman and Manas (Lydia) Lehman Jr., both of LaGrange, and Daniel (Sara) Lehman, Topeka.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Janet Lehman, and one brother, John Lehman.

    Visitation is after 2 p.m. Monday, August 10, and all day Tuesday, August 11, at the family residence, 10740W 500S in Millersburg, Ind.

    Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, at the Enos Troyer residence, 10735W 500S in Millersburg, Ind., with Bishop Harley Bontrager and home ministers officiating.

    Burial will be in Honeyville Cemetery, Topeka.
