East Noble girls drops Lakeland in tennis play

East Noble was a 5-0 varsity girls tennis victor over Lakeland last Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Knights won four of the five matches in straight sets. The only three-setter came in the No. 1 singles bout, where Mya Diffenderfer held off Beka Stroop, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Lakeland captured five of the six junior varsity tilts with East Noble. Gabrielle Larimer, Isabelle Larimer and Michayle Rasbaugh each won reserve singles matches. Teaming up for doubles triumphs were Celina Jasso-Goretti Garcia and Isabelle Larimer-Shayla Huffman.
