East Noble boys handle Lakeland

 

East Noble used a pair of 13-5 spurts in the middle two quarters to pull away from visiting Lakeland, 41-30 in varsity boys basketball action Saturday night.

The Knights entered the second stanza trailing the Lakers, 9-4. Heading into the fourth period, East Noble held a 30-19 advantage.

Andrew Gordon paced the hosts with 12 points. Kaleb Williams chipped in 10 markers to the winning cause.

Chandler Mynhier tallied 11 points to lead the 0-1 Lakers. Spencer Mortola tacked on eight points.
