Douglas Mark Tibbits, 53, Wolcottville, died Monday, October 8, 2012, at his residence.
He was born January 23, 1959, in Nebraska to John J. and Tessie (Prestil) Tibbits.
He had worked at Keystone RV in Goshen before becoming disabled due to an accident while at work.
He was married June 27, 1998, in Kimmell, Ind., to Donna Meyers. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Amanda L. Tibbits, Megan I. (Brandon) Hintz, and Mary Jo Tibbits, all of Madison, Wisc.; one stepdaughter, Teihlia (Rupley) Trammel, Michigan; three stepsons, Branden Meyers, Michigan, Christopher Meyers, Michigan, and Tra'e Meyers-Waeghe, Wolcottville; one grandchild; four stepgrandchildren; and two brothers, Tom (Janet) Tibbits, Topeka, and Don (Sandy) Tibbits, Madison, Wisc.
He was preceded in death by one son, Johnathan Mark Tibbits, and one brother, David J. Tibbits Sr.
Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Thursday, October 11, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel.
Services will be 5 p.m. Thursday, October 11, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel.
