Donald Wilson, 83, Woodburn, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne.
Born in Waynedale, he was the son of the late Eldon and Mildred Wilson.
He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He retired as a superintendent from Gladieux Refinery after 39 years.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Wilson; six children, Ron (Kathi) Wilson, LaGrange, Mike (Jayme) Wilson, Kendallville, Barb (Vern) Lange, Spencerville, Judy (Dave) Gerardot, Monroeville, Rhonda (David) Sitko, Monroeville, and Michele (Art Richardson) Wilson, Ft. Wayne; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two siblings, Bob Wilson and Gerri Stephens.
He was also preceded in death by siblings Ann Wright, Jane Bullock, and Eugene Wilson.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 28, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at E. Harper and Son Funeral Home in New Haven, Ind.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home in New Haven, Ind., with Reverend Paul Shoemaker officiating.
Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Ft. Wayne.
