Donald P. Moline, 76, Brighton, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 20, 1936, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Robert Sr. and Edna M. (Bowser) Moline.
He returned to the Howe area in November 1995, where he had lived before moving to Sturgis, Mich. He lived in Sturgis, MI for 20 years. He was a 1955 graduate of Brighton High School and served with the Michigan National Guard from 1961-1967. He worked at Associate Finance Company in South Bend, Ind., for 20 years and at Kirsch Company in Sturgis, Mich., for 20 years. He was a member of Brighton Chapel in Howe, Orland American Legion Post 423, Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie 1314, and Sturgis Elks Lodge 1381.
He was married October 8, 1988, in Burr Oak, Mich., to Christine May Milliman. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Michelle and Scott Carr, Sturgis, Mich., and Alecia Frutig, Sturgis, Mich.; one son, Jeffery Moline, Garita, N.M.; five granddaughters, Mary Moline, Whitney Mondragon, Samantha Wilder, Mikayla Buglione, and Olivia Frutig; three grandsons, Joshua (Jocelyn) Wilder, Garrett Buglione, and Eric Frutig II; two great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Mondragon and Isabella Love; his twin brother, David Dale Moline, Brighton; and a special nephew, Mark Moline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Robert Moline Jr. and Edward Moline.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Brighton Chapel on SR 3 in Howe with Reverend Rustin Krapfl officiating.
Burial will be in Brighton Cemetery, rural Howe.
