Don Henderson, 72, Angola, Ind., died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 23, 1941, in Steuben County, to Russell F. and Ruth (Locke) Henderson.
Living most of his life in Steuben County, he worked for 27 years at Weatherhead Brass Mill in Angola, Ind.
He was married September 23, 1961, in Orland, to Bonnie Baker. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Ted Hayes, Hamilton, Ind., and Brenda and Charlie Reed, Sturgis, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Henderson) Stump, Avilla, Ind.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Dalton Moore, Rome City; and two honorary sisters, Leslie Fisher, Auburn, Ind., and Barbara Henderson, Bronson, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Helen Henderson, two brothers, Charles and Richard Henderson, and two sons, Richard Lee Henderson and Donald G. “Buster” Henderson II.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, in Adams Cemetery, Bronson, Mich.
