Delta Theta Tau has donated $200 to the LaGrange County Council on Aging (COA) in support of the upcoming “Senior Expo” that will be held at the Michiana Event Center (MEC) on Oct. 15.
Delta Theta Tau is a philanthropic sorority whose mission is to do charitable work for the benefit of the LaGrange community. Its major fundraisers are the LaGrange Road Race that is held on Labor Day weekend and the “Bid for Bling Auction” that is held in the spring.
The 2013 road race will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Lakeland High School. The race will include a half-marathon and a four-mile run/walk. Go to www.lagrange publishing.com to download the forms for the LaGrange Road Race.
Delta Theta Tau supports the efforts of the COA with the advertising for the upcoming Senior Expo. The expo will include informational booths, health screenings, food and entertainment.
