DeKalb lady netters defeat Prairie Heights

 

The doubles unit of Makyla York and Ruth McNabb provided the lone highlight for the Prairie Heights girls tennis team in a 4-1 loss to DeKalb Tuesday.

York and McNabb scored a 6-2, 7-6 victory over Hannah King and Saige Prosser in the No. 1 doubles bout to account for the Lady Panther point.

The other doubles match went three sets, with Celsei Westrick and Micalah Mitchener finally prevailing over the Heights duo of Maggie Franke and Marie Talmage, 6-3, 1-6, 6-1.
