Deborah Brockman

Deborah Lee Brockman, 57, Kendallville, Ind., died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at her residence.

    She was born April 28, 1958, in Kendallville, Ind., to Keith V. and Jean A. (Bishop) Honaker. 

    Living all her life in the area, she was a licensed practical nurse and worked for eight years at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett, where she was the assistant director of nursing. She attended the Harbor of Love Baptist Church in Kendallville.

    She was married August 18, 1995, in LaGrange, to Michel W. Brockman. He survives.

    Also surviving are her mother, Jean A. Perkins, Wolcottville; three sons, Beau G. Sutton, LaGrange, Nathan L. (Aimee) Armey, Sturgis, Mich., and Cory D. Brockman, Irvine, Calif.; two daughters, Amy Brockman and Brandi Brockman (Aaron) Cohen, both of Ft. Wayne; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Sutton, Ashton Sutton, Aaliyah Metzger, Jade Vidal, Abigail Brockman, Jacob Armey, Tyler Armey, Landyn Dejong, and Emma Armey; two great-grandchildren, Jayce Sutton and Brooklynn Sutton; three sisters, Kathy (Kandi Reynolds) Honaker, Albion, Ind., Nicole Honaker Miller, Wolcottville, and Tylea “Ty” (Kelsey Forker) Pierce, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; one brother, Tracy Honaker, Wolcottville; two aunts, Shirley (Larry) Bishop and Louise (Mike) Rodman, both of Kendallville, Ind.; an uncle, Gary (Audrey) Bishop, Ligonier, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her father, one son, Travis Armey, and two brothers, Brett Honaker and Shane Honaker.

    Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel.

    There will be no public funeral service.
