Dawn Ebert

Dawn M. Ebert, 47, Worthington, Ohio, formerly of Sturgis, Mich., died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at her residence.

    She was born September 5, 1966, in Kendallville, Ind., to Phillip and Mary (Randol) Ackerman.

    She was a project manager with Abbott Labs, first in Sturgis, Mich., and then transferred to Worthington, Ohio.  She graduated from Franklin University with a degree in Business.

    Surviving are her mother, Mary Ackerman, LaGrange; two daughters, Cierra Ebert, Worthington, Ohio, and Nicole Larkin, Worthington, Ohio; a grandson, Kayson Ankrom, Worthington, Ohio; three brothers, Edwin Ackerman, Hudson, Ind., Phillip (April) Ackerman, LaGrange, and William (Candice) Ackerman, Dunkirk; and one sister, Debbie Ackerman, Worthington, Ohio.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Ackerman, and one brother, Edward Ackerman.

    Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, at New Freedom Baptist Church in LaGrange.

    Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, at New Freedom Baptist Church in LaGrange with Reverend Wade Sturdivant officiating. 

    Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

    Memorials may be directed to the Leukemia and Lympohoma Society.
