David Lee Bontrager, 49, Middlebury, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 28, 1963, in LaGrange County, to Amos and Polly (Miller) Bontrager.
He was a farmer and had worked at Jayco. He was a member and minister of the Old Order Amish Church, ordained in 2005.
He was married June 5, 1985, in LaGrange County, to Mary Ellen Miller. She survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, LorAnna (Richard) Miller, Middlebury, Marilyn, Katie Irene, Naomah and Rose Mary Bontrager, all at home; four sons, Freeman, Leonard, LaVern and Matthew Bontrager, all at home; two sisters, Edith Bontrager and Anna Marie (Marlin) Miller, both of Middlebury; three brothers, LaVern (Arlene) Bontrager, Middlebury, Cristie (LouAnn) Bontrager, Claire, Mich., and Glen (Erma) Bontrager, Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held Sunday, November 25, at the family residence, 11070W 050N in Middlebury, with Bishop Chris Lambright and home ministers officiating.
Burial is in Bontrager-Yoder Cemetery, Middlebury.
