Daniel A. Lehman, 92, LaGrange, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at his residence.
He was born October 10, 1919, in LaGrangeCounty, to Albert J. and Annie (Hochstetler) Lehman.
He was a carpenter, farmer, and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He was married May 21, 1944, in Middlebury, to Ida Mae Herschberger. She survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mary Ellen (Floyd) Miller, Chouteau, Okla., Barbara Fern (Howard) Troyer, Ligonier, Anna Marie (LeRoy) Troyer, LaGrange, and Alma Sue (Tom) Moran, Chouteau, Okla.; three sons, Elmer Lee (Elizabeth) Lehman, Middlebury, Albert Jay (Tressie Lehman, Middlebury) Lehman, Ava, Mo., and Melvin Ray (Phyllis) Lehman, Shipshewana; 27 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Miller, Montezuma, Ga., and Mary (Ezra) Gingerich, Millersburg; two brothers, Joe (Kathryn) Lehman, Topeka, and Harvey (Barbara) Lehman, Orrville, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Ray Miller, LaGrange; and an uncle, Joni (Edna Mae) Hochstetler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law LorAnna Lehman, two grandsons, Steve and Justin Lehman, a stillborn great-grandson, two sisters, Edna Miller and Ida Miller, three brothers, Freeman Lehman, Perry Lehman, and Albert Lehman Jr., and two brothers-in-law, Gideon Hochstetler and Eli Miller.
Visitation is all day Monday, August 6, at the LeRoy Troyer residence, 4835S 300W in LaGrange.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, at the Lonnie Yoder residence, 4985S 300W in LaGrange, with Bishop Ervin Bontrager Jr. and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.
