CrossRoads RV breaks ground

CrossRoads RV broke ground Tuesday on a new 22,330 sq. ft. corporate office on its 45-acre campus in Topeka.

According to Don Emahiser, President of CrossRoads RV, “We selected September 11 as the groundbreaking day for CrossRoads RV’s new corporate office to honor America’s legacy of strength and endurance.”

The new corporate office will house administrative and executive staff. The Town of Topeka annexed the building site into the town and offered a tax phase-in incentive to CrossRoads RV to locate their new corporate office in Topeka.

“We’re pleased to be able to expand our facilities in Topeka. We currently have our administrative staff split among several different facilities due to space limitations. The new building will create efficiencies in communication by having them all under one roof as well as give us the space to expand,” Emahiser stated.

Nuway Construction, a design/build general contractor located in Goshen, was chosen for the project. According to Randy Huffman, President of Nuway Construction, “This facility has been specifically designed to meet CrossRoads RV’s growing staff requirements. It incorporates human resource facilities now currently available and consolidates the sales staff under one roof.”

The new facility will be completed in April of 2013.

CrossRoads RV, a division of Thor Industries, is one of the nation’s fastest growing recreational vehicle manufacturers. CrossRoads provides a variety of fifth-wheel and towable RVs. CrossRoads RV ships its products throughout the United States and Canada, as well as overseas.
