Visitors to the LaGrange County Courthouse on Monday, September 17 will be the first to go through a proposed security system.
Visitors to the courthouse on Monday will have to enter and leave through the handicap entrance, located on the lower level on the west side of the courthouse. All other entrances will be locked for the day.
Visitors will need an ID to show to the officers at the door. Everyone entering the courthouse will be subject to search, including bags. Cell phones need to be left outside of the courthouse.
