LaGrange County Council members will meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning in the county office building. The council will meet in a joint session with county commissioners immediately following the council meeting (about 9 a.m.).
On the agenda for the council meeting is a resolution supporting the LaGrange County Parks and Recreation Department’s effort to purchase the Juday property adjacent to Pine Knob Park in Howe, a request by County Clerk Bonnie Brown regarding the restoration of historic books, and a presentation by Meredith Cameron regarding the TIF Area 2 subsidy to the LaGrange County Regional Utility District.
A public hearing to waive formality in the proposed tax abatement for Exo-S will be held.
At the joint meeting of the council and commissioners, the CR 200N project widening and leveling the road will discussed. The Exo-S fire suppression project is also on the agenda.
