The Shipshewana Town Council voted Thursday evening to continue utilizing the LaGrange County Code Enforcement Officer’s services for 2013.
The town will pay a total of $6,449.04, paid in two installments.
LaGrange County Code Enforcement Officer Jason Boggs has worked with the town of Shipshewana to address code violations such as tall grass, junk cars, zoning violations, and more for the past five years.
In other business:
The council approved a recommendation to expand the town’s park board to five members, which will allow for an easier quorum. There are currently four park board members.
The council approved Roger Yoder and Arlene Lazzaro to sit on the Shipshewana Car Museum Inc. board. The third member is Eldon Hostetler.
