The LaGrange County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Board of Supervisors will meet in their monthly public session on Tuesday, Feb. 26. The meeting will be held at ParGil Natural Resources Learning Center, 2335 North SR 9 in LaGrange. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., and will be preceded by an executive session at 5:30 p.m.
Everyone interested in natural resources conservation efforts ongoing in LaGrange County is welcome to attend.
Agenda items for this month include district, NRCS and Purdue CES staff reports, grant program progress reports, district activities, report on the Northern Indiana Grazing Conference, and discussion on renewal of the Long Range Business Plan.
The SWCD plans on holding its annual meeting on Thursday, March 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held at The Carriage House, 5280S 500W in Topeka. This meeting is open to the public.
Tree sales are also being processed. Orders will be taken through the end of March, with pickup scheduled for the beginning of April.
