Connie Patrick, 76, Rome City, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne.
She was born October 31, 1936, in Kendallville, Ind., to John and Iveta Grace (Kurtz) Friend.
Living in Rome City for over 25 years, she was a licensed practical nurse at the Kendallville and LaGrange hospitals. She last worked at the Family Birthing Center in Wolcottville.
Surviving are three sons, Terry McNamara, Kendallville, Ind., Robert J. (Teresa) McNamara, Albion, Ind., and Harold John (Anna) McNamara, Topeka; one daughter, Connie (Harold) Cummins, Rome City; 25 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Friend, Butler, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Roberta Sue Bloomfield, one grandson, Steven McNamara, one great-granddaughter, Annalyse McNamara, one niece, Toni Miller, and two sisters, Ilene Fogleson and Lonnie “Bridge” Wallace.
Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel with an evening service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Glen Patrick and Pastor Larry Patrick officiating.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel with Pastor Tamra Gerber officiating.
Private burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.
