The Concord tandem of Franko House and Jason Spriggs propelled the Minutemen to a 67-48 rout Westview in the varsity boys basketball regular-season finale last Friday night in Emma.
House poured in 19 points to top the Concord ledger. His nine-point outburst in the first quarter helped stake the Minutemen to a 20-7 lead.
Spriggs followed House with 16 points. The 6-7 center netted seven of his eight baskets in the middle two periods, sparking Concord to a 51-31 advantage.
Nine other Minutemen scored in the win that lifted them to a 16-4 record.
Pacing Westview with 11 tallies was Jordyn Bontrager. Nic Raber added eight markers and both Brant Yoder and Adrian Brandenberger swished seven.
The 17-5 Warriors host the local 2A sectional this week. Westview meets LaVille Tuesday at 6 p.m.
